Some guys from Grey Eminence worked on MEIOU mod for EU4 and some from Fields of History: Great War worked on Hoi3 and Hoi 4 'Great War' mods. Similar games under development by former PDX modders. I recommend to check Grey Eminence and Fields of History: Great War. Pride of Nations initially looked really promising back in the day. I wish someone else would also make a game like that.
